yum .. I used to catch squid on the beach in a drag net with my dad. He'd cut them up and put them in a bowl of milk in the fridge for an hour before he cooked it ... said it helped to start to tenderise the proteins ?? It tasted bloody fantastic, whatever it did, especially with the pineapple fritters that went along with the squid ... mmmm salivatious
